About Me

Natalie is a Digital Producer living in Manhattan. She is a recent graduate from New York University with a Bachelors of Science in Integrated Design and Media. She loves reading fantasy novels, gaining fashion inspiration from her Pinterest boards, and doing pilates. Natalie enjoys studying design because it combines her need to be creative with her interest in technology. Her interest in coding began in high school when she was encouraged to join the Girls Who Code Immersion Program by her cousin who was a software engineer. Natalie then spent six weeks learning to code with other girls and mentors at Ford Motor Company, and her interest grew in software. During her senior year of high school, Natalie got the opportunity to intern at NASA Ames Research Center as an Instrument Electronics Engineer. While she realized that coding was fun, she began to question if computer science was for her. After a year as a computer science student at NYU, she realized she desired a more creative career and transferred majors to study digital media. After making the difficult decision, Natalie never looked back. She loved learning about motion graphics, game design, and social media. Natalie hopes to start her career in a company that values individuality and will allow her to grow her technical side as well. Although creativity is a big factor in her life, Natalie enjoys having a more structured aspect of her work in order to balance the ambiguity that comes with design.
